"Meneer Piet" is a Doerak 1050 with a spacious open cockpit and aft cabin (OK/AK) with the addition “DRIKA,” which says it all; is a comfortable and versatile motorboat with three cabins, two of which are sleeping cabins, and offers plenty of space for longer trips or a relaxing weekend on the water. In the bow there is a lockable cabin with a double bed, storage space, and a washbasin. The spacious saloon has two wide benches that can easily serve as extra sleeping places and offers plenty of storage space. The galley and toilet room with electric toilet and washing facilities complete the stay on board.
The open cockpit is spacious and equipped with a removable convertible top; with the windows folded away, the Doerak has a clearance height of only 1.85 m, ideal for low bridges. On the port side you will find the steering gear and on the starboard side a separate passenger seat; two benches are placed against the rear of the cockpit, with the access door to the aft cabin behind them. In the aft cabin there are two wide single beds and plenty of storage space. The entire ship has a beautiful floor with a ship's parquet look.
Thanks to its multi-chine hull, the Doerak 1050 sails stably and comfortably, even on larger waters, and maneuvering is effortless thanks to the powerful Ford Lehman 108 hp engine in combination with the electric bow thruster. The wide gangways make it safe and pleasant to walk around on deck. The boat is ready for vacation and sailing and was completely repainted in 2021, ready for many new sailing adventures.
