The Noordkaper 31M, designated as the 31MOC Motor Open Cockpit, is a classically styled and robust 9.76-meter motor yacht designed by Martin Bekebrede. The vessel has a timeless appearance with a distinctive fisherman’s look and is built on the proven hull design of the well-known Noordkaper sailing yachts.
Thanks to its shallow draft of approximately 0.82 meters, the boat is ideally suited for shallow waters such as the Wadden Sea, Friesland, and inland waterways, while remaining seaworthy. The fiberglass hull and open cockpit provide ample outdoor living space and a comfortable, practical layout. The open cockpit also features an outside steering option with a tiller, allowing you to sail and steer from outside.
The interior is bright and spacious with a solid, classic atmosphere. There is sleeping space for 4 to 6 people: a fixed double bed in the forward cabin, a double bed under the saloon floor, and additional sleeping space created by converting the U-shaped seating area in the cabin.
The paneling is made of beech wood, combined with white-painted ceilings for a fresh and light appearance. The galley is fully equipped with a sink, a cooler, and a gas stove with an oven mounted on a gimbal for safe cooking while underway.
There is a separate room with a toilet, sink, and shower equipped with a drain pump. The seating area features a spacious U-shaped bench with a central table. The wheelhouse contains an interior helm station and a raised seating area that offers all-around visibility.
