The Lehmann 1200 was built in 1993 at Lehmann Yachten in Groß Leine, Germany, and launched in 1994. With the help of advanced computer calculations and towing tests by a naval architecture research institute, the yard developed a steel cruiser with a full frame construction. The result is a robust hull that sails just as smoothly as comparable polyester yachts due to its stiffness and its well-thought-out underwater hull, but with remarkably low diesel consumption.
From the outside, the Lehmann 1200 looks slender and sporty, but inside there is a teak interior with rounded corners that looks solid and shows comfort. In the bow there is a separate cabin with a generous V-bed of 195 x 175 cm, surrounded by cupboards and storage compartments. Then a dinette, and an L-shaped galley with spacious worktop, gas stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator and enameled sink with drip tray.
The saloon offers a comfortable L-shaped sofa opposite the steering position, complete with all the necessary navigation equipment. Storage space has been created behind every door and in every corner, so that everything is within reach. In the stern a bathroom with sink, electric toilet and shower and the owner's cabin which is equipped with an angled, freestanding bed and again plenty of closet space.
The Lehmann 1200 is equipped with a 3 cm PU foam insulation. Powered by a powerful 300 hp Iveco-Aifo diesel engine, she can effortlessly navigate the Rhine, for example, even upstream. From the flybridge you can enjoy a panoramic view, and on the very spacious aft deck there is room for a complete garden set; Perfect for long summer evenings on the water.
