The Kuster A-38 has a robust and elegant appearance, and with a vertical clearance of 2.40 meters, the many inland waterways are open to you! Spacious gangways, a secure stainless steel guardrail, high-mounted ventilation for engine room ventilation, and numerous handrails make her a truly seaworthy vessel.
The owner's cabin is located in the bow of the vessel and features a freestanding double bed. Spacious closets are located on both the port and starboard sides. The guest cabin has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe, and connections for a washing machine, offering ample space and headroom for changing. Daylight enters the guest cabin through two portholes and an easily accessible escape hatch. Opposite the guest cabin is the head with a toilet, sink, and separate shower, also featuring two portholes and an escape hatch for ventilation and natural light. In the saloon, on the starboard side, you'll find an L-shaped settee offering ample space and comfortable seating with excellent all-round views. The removable seat between the galley and the saloon table creates space for a fifth person. On the port side is the helm station, complete with extensive navigation equipment and an engine control panel, and a luxurious helm seat suspended above the floor. The galley is L-shaped and positioned against the aft side of the saloon. The large rear window can be fully opened, providing direct access to the open cockpit with an outside steering position. This very large open cockpit is equipped with benches against the transom and on both port and starboard sides. Below these are watertight lockers that can be closed. The lockers on both port and starboard sides also serve as steps to the side decks. Beneath the side decks are shelves where fenders, mooring lines, etc. can be stored, yet are readily accessible. Beneath this open cockpit is a large storage area with ample space for folding bicycles and many other large items often taken on longer voyages. The canopy over the open cockpit offers perfect shelter from wind and water, significantly increasing living space, even in inclement weather. The Kuster is equipped with a powerful four-cylinder Deutz diesel engine of 106 hp, providing ample power, even in headwinds and currents. Thanks to the hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, mooring is a breeze.
