Sloep "type" De Jong
A, in really new condition, clinker-built sloop
This beautiful and weekly in new condition sloop, is built in 1996/1997 by a master of a famous Dutch shipyard and now for sale. The Sloop is built overnaad in Mahogany with epoxy. On deck the teak deck is laid over the mahogany. Photo series of the construction in the ship hall is available.
The keel with propeller shaft is steel and secured through the skin with stainless steel bolts and grease lubrication for sealing. The ingeniously built-in small kitchen is equipped with a sink with a foot pump to pump water, an insulated space to keep items refrigerated with a 2 burner stove next to it. Opposite the kitchen is tucked away in a seating area, the toilet. A pleasant round seat in the stern and 2 swivel chairs complement it to a harmonious whole.
Engine is a Volvo Penta 2 cylinder (MD 2010) with outside water cooling and wet exhaust. The engine is in a heavily insulated cabinet so noise is minimal. With about 400 running hours on the counter. There is also a 12 volt connection
Especially for the sloop there is a custom made equalizer to lift the sloop and the sloop is equipped with a summer tent and a winter tent is available. Optionally, there is a single-axle trailer to take over.
