The Pieter Beeldsnijder 47 "Maron" is a unique and particularly stable steel motor yacht with aluminum superstructure and an elegant round bilge hull. The ship is equipped with two powerful Deutz engines of 156 hp each, a bow thruster and bilge keels, making it excellent for sailing on smaller inland waterways as well as on coastal waters. What gives this one-off built yacht extra character is the large center cockpit that evokes the feeling of a sailing yacht. For water sports enthusiasts who are used to a sailing yacht, this immediately feels familiar and like coming home. The yacht has been professionally maintained, has recently received new antifouling and has always been kept in a boathouse.
In the bow there is a spacious guest cabin with a comfortable Vbed and plenty of storage space. The galley is directly connected to the saloon and is equipped with a refrigerator, a spacious Corian worktop, a sink, a four-zone induction hob and a microwave. The bathroom in the foreship has an electric toilet, a sink and a shower cabin. The saloon is spacious and cozy, with an L-shaped sofa and a cupboard wall with extra cooler.
From the saloon, through a corridor you reach the stern, where the spacious owner's cabin is located. This cabin has a private bathroom with electric toilet, sink and shower cabin, two spacious separate beds of 200 by 100 centimeters and a dressing table/desk between the beds. Thanks to the portholes all around and two roof hatches, the room is light and atmospheric.
Each engine has its own, easily accessible engine room, which can be found on both sides of the corridor to the stern. From the saloon, a wide staircase leads to the center cockpit, which is equipped with a convertible top with rear tent of which all sides can be zipped off or completely folded away for a real convertible feeling. On the starboard side is the steering gear with navigation equipment and at the back of the center cockpit a comfortable U-seat group with two tables. The gangways are at the same height as the center cockpit and are accessible via a door on both sides. The entire deck is on the ground floor and equipped with wide gangways with sturdy guard rails, which increases safety and comfort on board.
This yacht is a real eye-catcher on the water and has proven itself to be a loyal travel companion with the current owners. During trips to England, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, they experienced unforgettable boating holidays and praise the great stability and manoeuvrability of this 15.20-metre-long ship. The boathouse in Terherne can be taken over if desired, so that you can sail directly into the Frisian waters from this beautiful location and from there easily go out into the wide world.
