The Kuster A-38 has a tough and very elegant appearance and with a headroom of 2.40 meters the many inland waterways are open to you without limit! Spacious gangways, a safe stainless steel sea rail and high ventilation for engine room ventilation and many hand rails make her a seaworthy lady.
The owner's cabin is located in the forward end of the vessel and has a free standing double bed. On both starboard and port sides are spacious closets. The guest cabin has a double bed, spacious wardrobe and in front of this is a spacious changing area. Daylight enters the guest cabin through two portholes and an easily accessible escape hatch. Opposite the guest cabin is the wet-cell area with toilet, washbasin and separate shower and also here two portholes and an escape hatch for ventilation and daylight. In the salon you will find an L-shaped settee on the starboard side which offers ample space and a comfortable seat with good views all around. The removable seat between galley and saloon table creates space for a fifth person. On the port side is the helm station with extensive navigation equipment and engine controls and a floor-free luxury helm seat. The galley is set against the aft end of the salon in an L-shape. The large rear window can be opened completely so that there is direct contact with the open cockpit. This very large open cockpit is equipped with benches against the transom as well as to starboard and port sides. Below are waterproof lockable storage compartments. The storage lockers on the starboard and port sides also serve as steps to the gangways. Under the gunwales there are shelves where fenders and mooring ropes etc. can be stored, but still directly accessible. Below this open cockpit is a large storage area where there is ample room for folding bikes and many other large items often taken on longer trips. The tent over the open cockpit provides perfect shelter from wind and water, greatly increasing the living space, even in bad weather. What this Kuster A-38 also has is a wired remote steering position with joystick steering controls, electric throttle, bow and stern thruster controls and horn in the open cockpit. The Kuster is equipped with a powerful but very quiet four cylinder Deutz diesel engine of 106 hp which provides ample power, even in wind and current against.
The Kuster A-38 was winter 2022/2023 completely painted by Kooistra yacht painters and is ready for departure.
