A well-maintained classic that still fully meets today's standards, ideal for a weekend away or longer trips through Germany and France, but also perfect for wandering on the Wadden Sea and trips to Denmark.
In the bow there is an owner's cabin with a spacious V-bed, plenty of closet space and enough space to change clothes. On the port side is the bathroom with shower, sink and electric toilet, right next to it is a cozy dinette that can also serve as an extra sleeping place and an extra cooling drawer in one of the dinette benches. The spacious galley to starboard has a large worktop, a gas cooker, a sink and a fridge freezer, making cooking on board pleasant and practical.
In the saloon with large sliding hatch you will find the steering position on the port side with clearly placed navigation equipment and a cupboard wall, and on the starboard side a passenger bench with chart table and a bench that also functions as an extra bed. The windows in the saloon are double glazed, including the four French doors, the hinged and sliding windows which offers extra comfort.
From the saloon you step directly into the open cockpit through the four French doors. The open cockpit is spacious and equipped with a large U-shaped sofa, ideal for sitting outside and enjoying the view. There is also a cellar in the cockpit that offers extra storage space for lines or other material. The Valkvlet is powered by a powerful 135 hp Ford Mermaid engine. Thanks to the well-packed engine room, the vessel is remarkably quiet.
The ship is easy to steer, very steady on course and has a short turning circle, with bow and stern thruster you turn almost in place. You don't have to be in a harbor every evening, because with the generator on board, the boat is self-sufficient and you can spend the night at anchor in the most beautiful places with enough diesel.
