The Explorer 44 "Wiebke" is a sporty and very well maintained motor yacht from 1997, from the second owner, with a total length of 14.50 meters and a width of approximately 4.40 meters, making the ship ideal for longer stays on board. The interior is made of warm teak and equipped with tinted double glazing, which, together with the generous layout, creates a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Via a small staircase you reach the hall that gives access to the spacious owner's cabin with a freestanding bed of 200 x 150 cm; From this cabin you walk directly to starboard into the spacious bathroom, equipped with washbasin and shower, while on port side there is a separate toilet room with electric toilet, washbasin and washer/dryer; The spacious engine room is accessible from that toilet room. The technical room houses a DAF 825 (DH 825) diesel engine, a generator, dieseltanks with manholes for inspection and a hydraulic installation for bow and stern thruster, among other things. For heating and hot water supply, a Kabola (B12/CV) is on board.
The aft deck is spacious and practical, including a sprayhood (renewed 2026), wide gangways, a hydraulic windlass and a swimming platform with outdoor shower; The steering position is equipped with navigation equipment. In terms of maintenance, the Wiebke has been excellently cared for: the ship was completely painted by Kooistra Jachtschilders in 2022 and the underwater hull was fitted with new antifouling in the spring of 2026.
