Storebro Solo 25. Sporty, wheelchair friendly and Scandinavian excellence.
The clean lines, wooden look and oval portholes make the Storebro Solo 25 one of the most popular sport boats in Scandinavia. That fact alone makes 'Bikkel' a sought-after motor yacht for water sports enthusiasts who enjoy sporty day trips. But really unique is this 7.10 m long and 2.0 m wide yacht, because it is made wheelchair friendly.
On board, this 1956 Solo 25, with construction number 99, has a fully integrated lifting system. With the help of hydraulic technology, anyone in a wheelchair can be safely and quickly lifted aboard from the shore. The cockpit has also been designed in such a way that you can take the wheel yourself from your wheelchair and cast out your fishing rod from anywhere. Bringing guests on board is also no problem. The large cockpit offers enough room for company.
The current owner had this Solo 25 brought over from Scandinavia to the Netherlands specifically for the purposes described above. The yacht is in original condition and has always been well maintained. Since the Solo line was produced until 1964, you will not quickly encounter a family member on Dutch waters. Unlike in Scandinavia, where the Solo's are still very popular eye-catchers.
